A Story of Science and Sea Monsters with Birgitta Meade

About the Event

Curious about the crater?  Maybe you already know that there is a 465 million year old meteor impact crater under Decorah but you'd like to know more.  Birgitta is refining lessons about Deep Time, how the impact crater formed, the extraordinary discovery of a "Sea Monster" and the story of a local science hero, the late Jean Young.  Birgitta is seeking feedback on how best to share these stories with a multi-age audience.  Take a walk through time and handle prototype teaching models.
